Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Handsight (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Handsight is a poker hand scanning and odds calculator application that uses on-device AI to detect playing cards and calculate win/tie/lose probabilities. The App supports Texas Hold’em, PLO4, and PLO5. The App is designed as an educational and recreational tool.

Eligibility

The App is rated 17+ and you must be at least 17 years old to use it. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that the use of poker-related tools is legal in your jurisdiction.

User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms and Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including saved hands and notes. Your hand history and game data are stored locally on your device and synced via Apple’s iCloud. We do not store or have access to this data.

If you opt in to sharing training images, you grant us an additional license to use those images for the purpose of improving our card detection AI model. This license can be revoked at any time by disabling the opt-in in the App’s settings.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the App require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually through the Apple App Store unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App in any setting where electronic devices or assistance tools are prohibited by house rules or regulations
• Use the App for any form of cheating in regulated poker games or tournaments
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to interfere with or compromise the App’s functionality or security
• Use the App for any illegal purpose, including illegal gambling

Disclaimer and No Gambling Advice

The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Card detection and probability calculations are approximations based on Monte Carlo simulation and may not be 100% accurate.

The App is intended for educational and recreational use only. It does not constitute gambling advice, financial advice, or any other form of professional advice. Odds and probabilities displayed are informational only. You should not rely solely on the App’s output for making decisions involving real money. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from using the App.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality:

• Supabase: Authentication and opt-in training image storage (EU-hosted)
• Apple iCloud: Hand history and game data sync
• RevenueCat: Subscription and billing management
• PostHog: Anonymous usage analytics
• Apple: App distribution and payment processing

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Olli Siitonen and Handsight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is the intellectual property of Olli Siitonen. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

GDPR and Data Protection

Olli Siitonen acts as the data controller for the App under Finnish law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing and withdraw consent.

For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy. If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman at tietosuoja.fi.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting support@handsight.app. If informal resolution fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts.
